Childhood Tales Doll in Blue spotted Dress 2010
Childhood Tales are a series of old discarded toys, found in charity shops or were my childrens. Their scuffed and worn appearance, obtained through years of play, imply they each have their own happy or sad story to tell. These deeply personal objects are now trapped forever in acrylic blocks like museum specimens, with each object slightly distorted within the block.
