VIDERE LUX & MEMENTO MORI
The Videre Lux and Memento Mori installations were shown separately in the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, Bergh Apton, Norfolk.
Videre Lux represents the Trinity: the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Projected over the pulpit is Genesis, Chapter 1, when God created the first day – light. Glass was suspended over the stain glass crucifixion and red laser diodes illuminated it, creating moving red shadows above the altar. Finally, pure white shadows were created on the ceiling of the organ balcony by lighting a blown glass bowl filled with holy water in the font below.
